The 7th Congress of Women - the meeting of Polish women across geographic, political, social, occupational and milieu borders - will be held under: "If not us, then who? If not now, then when?". We will summarize our position, victories and defeats, also we will discuss how we can work more effectively, how we can fight for our rights and issues and - what to do to make our voice heard. We are strong, responsible and imbued with solidarity. We have ideas, strategies and determination to act. These will be expressed during the 7th Congress of Women!
We will talk, among other things, about politics, inequality, motherhood and feminism, about education, about comprehensive healthcare and about many other matters which are important for us all.
The registration is available since April 27th. This is the birth anniversary of English writer - Mary Wollstonecraft, a precursor of feminism, who was promoting equal rights for women. The author of “A Vindication of the Rights of Woman” (1792) in which she raised the problems of girls education, the unequal status of women, the need for equal rights for women and men as well as women's right to work. It has been over 200 years and we still have to fight for equal employment rights (equal earnings, access to the posts) and on the ballots. Parity and zipper on the ballots are still valid.
